Hi guys this is important-- the regular waiters don't show up for dinner service until approximately 7:30 pm. Before then, it's cleaners and busboys who don't speak English taking orders and running around. Don't be fooled by their aloofness or "terrible service"-- the real waiters are professional and quite warm.

The service was not good and they tried to charge more from our card with a tip. You don't tip in France (atleast when the service is this bad), but still they tried to secretly add the tip to our bill - bad and sad :(
Food quality = ok minus -

Where is the zero star?
Been here for a family dinner(To celebrate birthday and Father's day) but got the worst experience ever. We've stayed in Antibes for almost 2 years but didn't manage French enough to have a descent conversation. Even though we've tried to be polite and communicate in a mix of French and English. For my parents, they don't understand French nor English at all.
1. Since the very beginning, we've told the waiter that we will order for everyone at the table because others don't understand/speak French; however, the thing really happened is that the waiter keeps talking to my parents and even teasing them for focusing on their mobile phones. This really pissed me off and made me to warn him.
2. When we just sat and started reading the menu, the waiter came and asked if we want some drinks just like usual restaurant would do. We were considering to order a dinner set for everyone (beverage included) so we decided to ask for just a bottle of tap water. Is asking for tap water guilty in this restaurant? We don't think so but that's the feeling we had!! The waiter just repeated to ask, "still or gaz? Really? tap water?" and then his eyes ran down everyone at the table with a despising face. I really don't understand the attitude he behaved. I visited a bunch of restaurants in France and no waiters would have issues when we ask for tap water.
In the end, we spent around 200 euros and tried to save our memory as well as our celebration. To be honest, the food is very good but the service....definitely not a pleasant experience and would never go there again.
- A side story
During the meal, one painting accidentally dropped off from the wall and hit the couples who sit at another table beside us (The woman is a mother-to-be) but they did't get any compensation or apologies. -

If I could put zero stars I would. Right from the beginning our waiter had no patience for my girlfriend and I as we were tourists and trying our best to conquer the language barrier. He did not help us, and instead laughed and made us feel uncomfortable. I'm the end we managed to order an appetizer and our meals that were beyond disappointing. The squid fritter appetizer had maybe two pieces of squid in it and the rest was small fried fish, not what we were expecting. Our meals were no better. I ordered the blue lobster pasta dish, which was advertised to come with half a shell of lobster. This was a complete lie. I was given half a shell with just enough lobster on it to fit on the end of my fork for one or two bites. They even removed the meat out of the claw before they served it! On top of the lacking portions, it was prepared terribly. They might as well have cut the fat off the end of a steak, cooked it until it had the consistency of rubber, and then served it to me. This was no cheap dish either. Extremely overpriced for such a lacking meal. My girlfriend and I were hoping to get a higher end seafood experience worth what we were paying, but we were terribly disappointed. Will never go back.

Probably our favorite fish restaurant in Antibes. Great value and friendly service. We seldom spend time in the area without visiting for lunch or dinner. Can recommend everything as we have tried most of the menu and never been disappointed. Fish soup in winter a must .
